The Airjet Ground Aerator

This machine has been designed to relieve deep compaction in all kinds of amenity areas including golf greens fairways and tees, rugby and football pitches, paddocks, racecourses, large lawns and many further use cases.

AirJet Ground Aeration Use Cases

The AirJet Ground Aerator is a machine designed to alleviate deep soil compaction in various areas like sports pitches, orchards, vineyards, and car parks.

It uses a hydraulic probe to inject high-pressure air into the soil, effectively loosening compacted layers and enhancing root and water penetration.

The device is adjustable, with depth targeting, making it a versatile solution for different soil types and conditions.

Golf Courses

Ground aeration benefits golf courses by improving soil drainage, structure, and root growth while promoting a healthier turfgrass system, resulting in greener and sturdier playing surfaces.

Sports Grounds

Football, rugby and cricket ground aeration results in improved playing conditions, reduced maintenance costs, and a safer, more enjoyable experience for athletes and spectators.

Paddocks & Race Courses

Aerating reduces soil compaction from grazing and trampling, along with improved nutrient uptake, reduced erosion and better grazing.

Orchards & Vineyards

Compaction caused by vehicles is a common problem – mainly because narrow-spaced plant rows mean that the vehicle wheels travel the same ground every pass.

Peter Knight

Peter Knight is the founder of both Bury Turfcare Ltd and Genny Wren Ltd.

He realised very early on being in the industry of grass maintenance, that grass does not grow well in compacted ground, so he bought his first verti drain in 1992 and now owns five from one of the smallest to the biggest and heaviest.
